What to expect

What is Nature's GLP?
A daily herbal tincture made with seven herbs traditionally used for metabolic and digestive support: barberry root, gymnema leaf, bitter melon, dandelion root, fenugreek seed, ginger root, and green tea. It's formulated by two RNs and made by hand in small batches in Minnesota.

Is it a weight-loss product?
No. It isn't a weight-loss drug, and it isn't a substitute for a prescription GLP-1. It's designed to support satiety, healthy blood sugar levels already within a normal range, and steady energy. Some people find that makes healthy habits easier to stick with. It works with your food, movement, and sleep, not instead of them.

What does it taste like?
Bitter. Gymnema and bitter melon are two of the most bitter herbs there are, and that bitterness is part of how they've traditionally been used. Most people take it in a little water or juice instead of straight under the tongue.

How long before I notice anything?
Herbs work gradually. Give it a few weeks of daily use before you decide if it's working for you. Consistency matters more than dose: taking it daily works better than taking extra on the days you remember.

How do I take it?
One squeeze of the dropper bulb, about 30 to 40 drops (the dropper only fills halfway), under the tongue or in water or juice. Take it once a day for maintenance, or up to three times a day, 30 minutes before meals, for digestion support.

Can I take it with my medications?
Ask your provider first if you take medication for blood sugar, including insulin, metformin, or a prescription GLP-1. Gymnema, bitter melon, and barberry are traditionally used to support blood sugar, so they can add to those medications. Don't use it if you're pregnant or nursing.

What's in the base?
Gluten-free vodka and vegetable glycerin. Our glycerin is soy-derived. We avoid corn- and palm-based glycerin on purpose.
